Check Keyword Density beta

Our online keyword density calculator provides a simple and straightforward way to check keyword density on your page. It works by extracting all words/phrases that appear on your page, finding the most common terms, and further sorting them according to how many times they appear on the page. All text intended to be read by humans (like those inside paragraphs) and those intended for robots (meta tags) is being considered.

There are many other similar tools to be found online, but most of them have unnecessarily complicated interfaces, make you solve captchas, or are incapable of dealing with modern web apps - especially single page apps that render completely client side (See Example). Nothing will render. No text will be shown. Simply reading off a raw HTML is no longer sufficient. This keyword density tool is much smarter than that.

What is Keyword Density?

Keyword Density is a term that refers to the number of times (or percentage) a certain word or phrase appears in the text on your page. It is an important metric used by webmasters when optimizing websites to be indexed by search engines where the logic is that the more times a particular term appears on your page, the more likely search engines to place that page at the top of search results when people search for those terms. So for example, if stuffed your page with terms like "keyword density" and "keyword density checker" everywhere, theoretically Google should rank that page higher for those terms.
